Priming plant immunity with broad spectrum effectiveness

The University of Sheffield is now working in partnership with Enza Zaden, one of the world’s leading vegetable breeding companies. Enza Zaden has an extensive breeding programme which encompasses development work into tomato, sweet pepper, outdoor lettuce and potato crops.

With the aim of obtaining long-lasting disease protection, the University of Sheffield’s research project with Enza Zaden is helping to realise the potential for GM and non-GM applications to reduce fungicide usage.
